Erik Lynd joins Harlem & Irving

Harlem & Irving warmly welcomes Chicagoland artist Erik Lynd to our roster.

Erik has been collecting, modifying and building synthesizers since 1997 and showcased his affinity for drones, noise and soundscaping at the “Monday at Dannys” DJ weekly and Rodan’s “Just a Reminder” series.

Erik favors experimentation and improvisation when employing modular synthesizers, tape loops, heavy processing and feedback loops to create temporary audio spaces. Preferring not to involve computers in his process, his work represents a planned impermanence — ‘audio photographs’ of places that can be observed but not revisited.

Erik’s chillingly epic 4 song EP Written On Rust will be available through Bandcamp digitally and as limited edition cassette winter of 2021.
