HI006 Announced: ERD.00:14421-023Z

Harlem & Irving designates HI006 as the remaster of rehab. full length ERD.00:14421-023Z. Originally signed by Adam Dorfman of Endpoint, a subdivision of Chicago’s Dust Traxx label — “ERD” circulated as a now out-of-print cassette sampler before being pressed to vinyl and CD by the imprint circa 1998-99.

Although over 20 years old — and clocking in at over 70 minutes — the 13 track album is a legendary snapshot of noise laden, process-intensive free experimental music from late 90s Chicago.

In realization that our mixing skills may not have met our ambition at the time, we enlisted mastering engineer Timothy Stollenwerk to once again “make it sing” and sonically realize the aural immersion we strove for. The results far surpass what we imagined.
